The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
