Large-scale Moscow's Strikes Disrupt Electricity Across Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have faced escalating attacks in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in blackouts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and dealt with problems to water systems, as stated by local authorities.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has intensified attacks on power infrastructure over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "substantial measures" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the United States, Europe and the major economies - in supplying defensive weapons and enforcing restrictions," he wrote in a public message.

Officials stated that 450 drones and more than 30 rockets attacked energy facilities, labeling such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were working to restore power.

A series of attacks hit electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the city experienced heavy assaults overnight. A seven-year-old child was killed and three other people were hurt.

The strikes follow evenings of bombing campaigns in the area, sections of which are currently controlled by Moscow's military.

The whole nation is on alert for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are more difficult to identify.

Government officials told reporters that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the country's energy grid, with strikes already disrupting gas facilities.

He said technical personnel and officials were preparing for further attacks.
