With this result, the Seattle have taken over their Conference race with a twelve and three record, replacing the Los Angeles, who dropped to the number five playoff position with an 11-4 standing.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two interceptions but regrouped to make two touchdown passes, culminating in the second TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.
